The overarching goal of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) and its companion opportunities is to establish the Precision Medicine with AI: Integrating Imaging with Multimodal Data (PRIMED-AI) Program to support development of innovative, reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable multimodal AI-based clinical decision support (CDS) tools. PRIMED-AI CDS tools are based on the integration of clinical imaging with other types of multimodal health data to enhance care for patients with a wide range of health conditions. The PRIMED-AI Program seeks to catalyze the adoption of AI-based CDS tools into clinical workflows to enable novel personalized medicine strategies that address significant health challenges. The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to catalyze the development and testing of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled, image-centered, multimodal Clinical Decision Support (CDS) tools, developed in pursuance as Software as a Medical Device (SaMD). This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) invites applications for advanced development and enhancement of emerging informatics technologies to improve the acquisition, analysis, visualization, and interpretation of data across the cancer research continuum including cancer biology, cancer treatment and diagnosis, early cancer detection, risk assessment and prevention, cancer control and epidemiology. As a component of the NCI's Informatics Technology for Cancer Research (ITCR) Program, this NOFO is focused on advancing emerging informatics technology, defined as one that has passed the initial prototyping and pilot development stage, has demonstrated potential to have a significant and broader impact, has compelling reasons for further improvement and enhancement, and has not been widely adopted in the cancer research field. To be successful, proposed development plans must have a clear rationale for why the proposed technology is needed and how it will benefit the cancer research field. In addition, mechanisms to solicit feedback from driving cancer research projects as well as the broader user community throughout the development process must be included.This NOFO invites applications for the enhancement and dissemination of emerging, user-friendly informatics technologies that support a wide range of cancer research, including discovery biology, population studies, as well as clinical and translational research. The emphasis is on uniqueness and potential impact on cancer research. Sustained Support for Informatics Technologies for Cancer Research and Management (U24 Clinical Trial Optional)

This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) solicits applications for the continued development and sustainment of high value informatics research resources to improve the acquisition, management, analysis, and dissemination of data and knowledge across the cancer research continuum including cancer biology, cancer treatment and diagnosis, early cancer detection, risk assessment and prevention, cancer control and epidemiology. As a component of the NCI's Informatics Technology for Cancer Research (ITCR) Program, this NOFO is focused on sustaining operations and maintaining and evolving the scientific relevance of existing, widely-adopted informatics tools and resources. This is in contrast to early-stage and advanced development efforts to generate these tools and resources that will be supported by companion ITCR NOFOs. The central mission of ITCR is to promote research-driven informatics technology across the development lifecycle to address priority needs in cancer research. In order to be successful, the application must provide clear justification for why the research resource should be maintained and how it has benefited and will continue to benefit the cancer research field. In addition, mechanisms for assessing and maximizing the value of the resource to researchers and supporting close engagement between the resource and the targeted research community should be described.This NOFO invites applications to support the sustained operations of informatics technology resources that support a wide range of cancer research, including discovery biology, population studies, as well as clinical and translational research. Community Engagement Evaluation and Data Coordination (CEED) Hub to Advance Data and Practice Transformation for Optimizing Oral Health for All (U01, Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to seek applications for a Community Engagement Evaluation and Data coordination hub (CEED) for the Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) consortium: Advancing Data and Practice Transformation (ADAPT) for Optimizing Oral Health for All. Plant Protection Act Section 7721 Fiscal Year 2027 National Clean Plant Network (NCPN)

Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announce this funding opportunity to carry out the Plant Protection Act Section 7721 (PPA 7721) National Clean Plant Network (NCPN) program. APHIS will consider project proposals that clearly and directly support the strategic goals and objectives of the National Clean Plant Network as described in the NCPN Strategic Plan. The purpose of the NCPN program is to establish a network of Clean Plant Centers for diagnostic and pathogen elimination services to produce clean propagative plant material and to maintain blocks of pathogen-tested plant material in sites located throughout the United States. The NCPN provides propagative plant material free of targeted plant pathogens to protect the environment and ensure the global competitiveness of U.S. specialty crop producers. Program priorities align with the goals specified in the NCPN Strategic Plan and include: 1) Optimizing the production, maintenance, and distribution of clean plants, 2) Advancing special initiatives by optimizing the adaptation and implementation of novel technologies and new ideas while increasing the awareness of the importance, availability, and use of clean plants, and 3) Optimizing network resources. Applicants should refer to the NCPN Request for Proposals on the USDA APHIS NCPN website for additional details. APHIS is providing at least $10 million in funding for the Plant Protection Act (PPA) National Clean Plant Network (NCPN) program under Section 420 of the PPA (7 USC § 7721). The purpose of the NCPN program is to establish a network of Clean Plant Centers for diagnostic and pathogen elimination services to produce clean propagative plant material and to maintain blocks of pathogen-tested plant material in sites located throughout the United States. Program Goals: The National Clean Plant Network (NCPN) was established under The Food, Conservation and Energy Act of 2008 (Farm Bill) Title X, Sec 10202. Network clean plant centers conduct diagnostic and pathogen elimination services and establish foundation blocks (nuclear stock) to provide pathogen-tested plant materials to nurseries, growers, and to state certification programs. Expected Outcomes: Projects funded under this announcement are expected to support programs that provide propagative plant material free of targeted plant pathogens to protect the environment and ensure the global competitiveness of U.S. specialty crop producers. Funding Priorities: APHIS will consider project proposals that clearly and directly support the strategic goals and objectives of the National Clean Plant Network. Program priorities align with the goals specified in the NCPN Strategic Plan and include: 1) Optimizing the production, maintenance, and distribution of clean plants, 2) Advancing special initiatives by optimizing the adaptation and implementation of novel technologies and new ideas while increasing the awareness of the importance, availability, and use of clean plants, and 3) Optimizing network resources. Recycled Glass Processing Incentive Grant Program (FY 2026-27)

The fundamental goal of the Program is to stimulate an increase of furnace-ready glass cullet in the making of new glass beverage containers within the State of California. Eligible Projects Include: This grant is for projects that demonstrate the ability to expand furnace-ready glass cullet processing in the State of California. Projects must be located in California. Applicants will be required to identify the location and provide location documentation within the application. The applicant must match the amount of any grant received from the grant program in an amount equal to or greater than the grant amount. Other funding received from CalRecycle is not eligible to be used as match for this grant program. Within 12 months of receiving a grant from CalRecycle the entity receiving the grant shall demonstrate to CalRecycle the amount of additional glass cullet processed as a result of utilization of the grant funds. Eligible Applicants Include: All eligible applicants must be a current certified beneficiating processor within the State of California and one of the following: • Private for-profit entities. For purposes of this program, a "private, for-profit entity" is defined as a business intended to operate at a profit and return a profit to its owners. Private entities must be authorized to conduct business in the State of California, by either being registered with the California Secretary of State as a business located in California, being registered as a foreign (out–of–state or out–of–country) business or processing a business license issued by a California city, county, or city and county. The business must be qualified to do business in California and be in good standing with all applicable California state agencies, including, but not limited to, the Secretary of State and the Franchise Tax Board.  Any and all subsidiaries, divisions or affiliated businesses are considered part of the primary business entity for the purpose of applying for and receiving a grant award under the program.  A business is considered an "affiliated business" if it has at least one owner with a forty (40) percent or greater interest in another applicant business. • Non-profit entities (except private schools) registered with the federal government under 501(c)3, (c)4, (c)6 or (c)10 of the internal revenue code. The applicant must match the amount of any grant received from the grant program in an amount equal to or greater than the grant amount. Research teams are therefore required to establish and utilize effective and equitable collaborations and partnerships with community members to maximize the translational and impact potential of the proposed research. Research funded under this award mechanism will be hypothesis-driven, high-impact applied research that is relevant to Service Members, Veterans, their Families and the American public. Research addressing any and all types of arthritis is encouraged. Distinctive Features: The FY26 ATRP TRA mechanism is intended to support preclinical or animal research and may not be used for clinical research or clinical trials. Basic research, as defined in Section 3.1.2, is not allowed. A key aspect of this award mechanism is impact. The application should explicitly state how outcomes of the proposed research will significantly advance arthritis research, particularly in accelerating critical findings into clinically relevant solutions. Preliminary and/or published data, originating from research conducted by the applicant(s) or others, is required.

Optimizing Behavioral Sleep Interventions for Adolescents and Young Adults (R34 Clinical Trial Required)

Scaling Dyadic Care Grant Program

Long-term health outcomes of people living with spina bifida

The purpose of component A (8-11 awardees) of this NOFO is to collect high-quality longitudinal data on children and adults with spina bifida (SB) who receive care in specialized spina bifida clinics participating in the National Spina Bifida Patient Registry (NSBPR). The purpose of component B (6-8 awardees) is to implement and evaluate the Urologic Management to Preserve Initial Renal Function Protocol for Young Children with Spina Bifida (UMPIRE) iterative protocol which aims to improve the management of the urinary and kidney systems in infants and young children with myelomeningocele. Building on existing longitudinal data collection, recipients will continue to collect data on patients with SB to better understand health outcomes after interventions and treatments, analyze the data and share findings to identify opportunities for improvement of care. An additional objective for Component B is to finalize the UMPIRE protocol for children 0-10 years old with myelomeningocele. The Earth System Science and Services Partnership (ESSSP) supports research, programs, projects and other activities related to NOAA's mission, primarily through collaborations among scientists and professionals in areas of mutual interest associated with understanding and predicting changes in the Earth's atmosphere, oceans, coasts, land, and ice and their interrelated effects on ecosystems, weather and hazards, and communities and infrastructure. Areas for collaborative efforts under this agreement include research and analysis; observations and monitoring; data impact evaluations; numerical modeling; and service development and stakeholder engagement. Eligible applicants must be academic institutions of higher learning which offer doctoral degrees in NOAA-related sciences; consortia of academic institutions of higher learning which offer doctoral degrees in NOAA-related sciences; or non-profit research institutions. Multi-institution applications will not be accepted. The total NOAA funding amount available for the ESSSP is anticipated to be approximately $10,000,000.
