The CDC office in Ethiopia was established in 2001 and works closely with the Ministry of Health (MOH), the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI), and other Government of Ethiopia (GOE) agencies to develop the capacity to prevent, detect, and respond to priority diseases. In 2014, CDC began coordination with the GOE to build Ethiopia's capacity to achieve the International Health Regulation (IHR) targets through implementing the Global Health Security Agenda. The initial road map was developed with multi-sector partners in 2015, and the multi-sector collaboration is proving successful with over 500 trained in field epidemiology, a national public health emergency operations center activated for outbreaks and expanding diagnostic and surveillance capacity. In 2020, CDC has continued to support and advance GOE's ability to detect, respond and manage multiple concurrent outbreaks that plague Ethiopia on a yearly basis through the collaboration of multiple implementing partners including EPHI. CDC will continue to empower the GOE to strengthen their response efforts to public health emergencies by building on the 2020-2025 projects focused on CDC's Global Health Security Framework. TITLE OF PROJECT: Groundwater and Surficial Water Salinity Changes in Everglades National Park using Aerial Electromagnetic Surveys
SYNOPSIS OF PROJECT: This project will support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Jacksonville District by performing Aerial Electromagnetic (AEM) surveys to understand the current spatial extent and rate of saltwater intrusion in the ground and surface waters of the southern Florida Everglades. Results will be integrated with previous survey data conducted over the last 30 years to comprehend the impacts surrounding significant critical habitat loss. Future freshwater-saltwater interface trends will then be estimated to optimize management decisions tied to restoration efforts of the degraded wetland system.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The Base Period of the agreement will extend 12 months from date of award. Four 12-month Follow-on Periods are anticipated based on availability of funding.

The Rural Utilities Service (RUS or the Agency), a Rural Development (RD) Agency of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), is soliciting Letters of Interest (LOI) for loan Applications, announcing the Application process for those loans, and providing deadlines for Applications from eligible entities under the Powering Affordable Reliable Technology (PART) Energy Program. These loan funds will be made to qualified PART Applicants to finance power generation Projects for Renewable Energy Resource (RER) systems or Energy Storage Systems (ESS) that support RER Projects. The PART Program is making approximately $410 million in appropriated budget authority (BA) funding available under the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (IRA). RUS will process and evaluate complete LOI on a rolling basis in the order they are received.
The PART Program is to be carried out by the RUS pursuant to Section 22001 of the IRA. Section 22001 of the IRA amends Section 9003 of the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 by adding new subsection (h). Section 22001 of the IRA provides RUS with appropriated funds “for the cost of loans under Section 317 of the RE Act.” Additionally, Section 22001 of the IRA provides that PART funds may be utilized to finance Projects that store electricity generated from eligible energy sources listed under Section 317 of the RE Act. These Project Loans or System Loans will be forgiven up to forty percent (40%), provided the Awardee and the Project otherwise meet the terms and conditions of the loan forgiveness. Approximately $410 million in budget authority is being made available under this Notice. The Administrator reserves the right to increase this funding level should additional funds become available or reduce funding in the event an insufficient number of high-quality projects are submitted for consideration.
Cost Sharing or Matching:
(a) Project Loans. Awards will finance up to 75% of the total capitalized costs of a Project. Awardees will be required to provide at least 25% of the Project’s total capitalized cost in the form of cash or equity investments, which may not be derived from debt instruments. However, the Agency may utilize its authority under Section 306F of the RE Act and finance up to 100% of the costs of the Projects benefiting SUTA areas.
(b) System Loans. PART System Loans may cover up to 100% of the total costs of the Project.

The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is to elucidate the key components of the therapeutic effects of rapid-acting psychotropic interventional drugs (RAPIDs) by addressing the methodological challenges involved with these clinical trials. In addition, this NOFO seeks to advance understanding of how RAPIDs and adjunctive psychosocial interventions can be optimally delivered, monitored, and sustained over time to enhance effectiveness and generalizability. The NOFO will support studies designed to enhance the rigor of RAPID clinical trial design, which will ultimately increase the interpretability of the data and the generalizability of the results.

Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Melanoma Research Program (MRP) Focused Program Award – Rare Melanomas, supports a multidisciplinary research program of at least two, but not more than three, distinct but complementary research projects addressing an overarching question relevant to rare melanomas.
Distinctive Features:
· *Updated for FY26* Investigators must include at least one rare melanoma survivor or patient advocate as part of the project team who will provide advice and consultation throughout planning, implementation, and results dissemination to maximize research impact.
· This is a partnering mechanism, requiring an Initiating Principal Investigator (PI) and at least one, but not more than two, Partnering PIs, see Figure 1.
Each named PI is expected to be a Project Leader for one of the proposed research projects. If recommended for funding, each PI will be named on separate awards to the recipient organization(s).
· After submitting the required pre-application, investigators must receive an invitation to submit a full application.
Only the Initiating PI will submit a pre-application. All PIs must submit full applications. The Partnering PI(s)’s application is an abbreviated package specific to their proposed research project.
